Privacy Policy
Effective Date: 24th of May, 2025
At Knaut Inc. ("Knaut," "we," or "us"), we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share your personal data when you access or use our app and service, Nook (Service). By using our Service, you acknowledge and consent to the practices and policies outlined below.
If you have a disability, you may access this Privacy Policy in an alternative format by contacting contact@knaut.jp.
Key Principles for Data Privacy in the Nook App
We built the Nook app with privacy and transparency in mind. Specifically:
- We do not store your notes, Notion tokens, or any content-related data on our servers. All data related to your Notion workspace is transmitted directly from your device to Notion using the official Notion API.
- We track certain in-app events, such as screen transitions, button taps, and error conditions, solely to improve the app experience and fix bugs. We also process non-identifiable purchase status data (such as whether a subscription is active or inactive) to manage access to paid features. We do not handle any billing or payment method details ourselves.
- We do not store or use personal content such as your notes, Notion token, or IP address for tracking or profiling. Any IP address data that may be transmitted during API communication is handled only transiently and used solely for technical delivery and security purposes.
This Privacy Policy applies only to the Nook app—not to third-party platforms such as Notion, whose policies you should review separately.
