Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Nook app and related services (collectively, the “Service”) provided by Knaut Inc. (“Knaut,” “we,” or “us”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Use of the Service

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction) and capable of forming a binding contract to use the Service. You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

2. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in and to the Service (excluding content provided by users or Notion) are and will remain the exclusive property of Knaut Inc.

3. Subscriptions and Payments

Some features of the Service may require payment. Subscriptions are managed via the App Store and governed by Apple’s payment terms. We do not collect or process any payment details directly.

4. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, including if you violate these Terms.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Knaut Inc. and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

• (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service.
• (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the Service.
• (iii) unauthorized access, use or alteration of your data.

In no event shall Knaut's total liability exceed the amount you have paid to us (if any) for the use of the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in Tokyo, Japan.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are made constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
